I saw a man sitting on a nice leather couch outside an apartment
building, I almost just walked past without a word, but i said hello
and asked him if he needed help moving the couch somewhere. He agreed
and we moved it up three flights of stairs.

I was driving down the road late one night and saw two people slowly
walking up the street. One of them was pulling a large suitcase and I
saw them struggle getting the wheels over the curb. After a lot of
hesitation I turned around and asked them if they wanted a ride. They
jumped in the warm car and defrosted a little as I drove them a few
blocks to the closest gas station while listening to their sad
circumstances. As I shook their cold hands goodbye they thanked me
and said "life is good, isn't it?". I drove away more thankful for my
relatively good and comfortable life.

Helped to encourage a young man competing in the 3^rd annual 3 men and a bike contest to complete the race. He did complete the race and was excited with his accomplishment.
